blame it on this southern weather

dear all my plus-sized beauties, where do you shop for clothes? i find myself having a harder and harder time finding clothes now that i’ve all but completely outgrown the “normal” sizes at my favorite stores.. so i need to know what stores have a decent curvy section that i can check out. i just recently discovered maurices and actually found their stuff cute and it fit! only downside is it’s pretty pricy, at least for myself. places that have actual stores would be best since online shopping is so hit or miss(i frequent asos and modcloth and end up sending back half of what i buy). so please, suggestions!

i’m the tiniest bit disappointed because i ordered this dress from asos curve that i was planning to wear for josh’s birthday party(and a jacket in case the top made me feel uncomfortable), and neither of them look good. the dress is tight but in the good secure way around the waist but there’s all this extra fabric up on top that makes me look huge and old ladyish and just blahhhh. and the jacket is awkward and bulky and i don’t like the way it looks on me at all. but on the upside i did get a shirt and a bag and now i have some money from the return to look forward to. i feel like asos curve is always hit or miss for me, either i am in love with what i get or i want to burn it. i have another dress from there in my closet that i wanted so much to work but it just doesn’t, guess i’ll put that baby up on ebay today so i’ll have some extra money to work with.

has anyone ever ordered online(or otherwise i suppose) from forever 21+? do the sizes tend to run true or big/small? cause according to their size chart, based on measurements, i am one size.. but then according to their actual numbered sizes i am another so i don’t know which one to get, and i know like asos curve runs big so i don’t want to end up having to go through the whole return process blah blah, any input would be great!

has anyone ever bought anything from ASOS/curve? i just bought something off my wishlist and i hope the size chart is accurate so i won’t have to do any exchanges BUT it might almost be worth it since the clothes are so damn cute.
